The following is a list of the gear, equipment, and clothing you will need for your day on the ski slopes. If it's your first ski trip, rent skis and boots. There is no point in investing in expensive equipment until you are sure this is the sport for you.
Do make sure that you have appropriate clothes, that will keep you both warm and dry.

- Goggles (consider over-the-glasses goggles if you wear eyeglasses)
- Helmet
- Ski Carrier (optional)

- Sunglasses
- Walkie Talkies (optional)
- Women's Gloves or Mittens (two pairs, in case one gets wet)
- Men's Gloves or Mittens (two pairs, in case one gets wet)
- Base Layer (tops and bottoms) - Men's Base Layer - Women's Base Layer
- Turtleneck
- Sweater or fleece
- Ski Socks (ski socks or fleece socks), plus an extra pair
- Ski Pants (insulated and waterproof) - Men's Ski Pants - Women's Ski Pants
- Ski Jacket (insulated and waterproof) - Men's Ski Jackets - Women's Ski Jackets
- Neck Gaiter (to keep your neck warm)
- Hat, Headband or Helmet Liner
Tip: If you dress in layers, you can always remove a layer if you get hot. It's harder to add layers after the fact, especially when you're cold.
